Description
Dave Elman was a noted American radio host, comedian, and songwriter, and important figure in the field of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. In 1949, Elman decided to pursue teaching hypnosis to doctors and dentists. From 1949 through 1962, he traveled extensively throughout America teaching his training course in hypnosis as a series of lessons called "Medical Relaxation", which he published as audio recordings. Elman died suddenly on 5 December 1967.
This album entitled "The Fairy's Magic Game" was for Medical Use Only.
Side 1 contains "A Visit to the Physician" and Side 2 contains " A Visit to the Dentist". The titles included seem to indicate that hypnosis was used to calm those nervous about visiting the doctor or dentist, but I wasn't able to confirm this.
