KALOOKY / ONE MORE RAINY DAY... 7-inch, 45rpm single by I BISACQUEI. Original Italian pressing on the ITALIAN YANK Label (IY 10014) from 1969. Superb hammond funk instrumental for DJs on KALOOKY with funky drum breaks intro that set the tempo for the rest of the track. Wild organ vamps like an Italian garage cum Mohawks style Library theme with delirious breaks and beats. Comped on Mo'Plen 2000, once playlisted by Mr Fine Wine and the DJ for the Beastie Boys even used the pumping hammond riffs and intro drum breaks during the 2006 MTV hip hop awards. The ONE MORE RAINY DAY side is more jazzy and symphonic with bumpy break-beat drums / jazzy piano motif / psychedelic prog keyboards / thunderstorm sounds and rain drop FX throughout. Rare 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny, M- condition overall with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Some old pressing residue discolouration to vinyl but all copies have this. Some light surface noises. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The delicate picture sleeve is closer to M- overall with minimal light wear and some creasing from storage. A few light dirt marks but again common for this single. Rare 45!!!
