Original 1971 Nelson Records pressing GLP 1007, STEREO, made in Italy.
Original 2nd pressing standard I MARC 4 sleeve with light cardboard, originally released on 500 copies.
Dope Italian Library record on the killer Nelson records by the infamous quartet I MARC 4, composed of Maurizio Majorana on the bass (M), Antonello Vannucchi at the organ (A), Roberto Podio at the drums (R), and Carlo Pes (C) on guitar. I Marc 4 provided some of the best cinematic and theme music of the time, and this is one of their best volumes from the series with loads of Underground, Jazz-Funk and groovy mood music as usual in addiction to superb cinematic Jazz and Exotica themes with stunning Modal Jazz numbers. Music is signed by PEPPINO DE LUCA (L'UOMO DAGLI OCCHI DI GHIACCIO OST and more), M.MAJORANA, MASSIMO CATALANO, CARLO PES and NUAN aka A.VANNUCCHI. Played and performed by I MARC 4.
7th volume from the GLP series on Nelson Records composed of 14 LPs and featuring some mental Jazz grooves like the stellar Modal Jazz "ANDRÈ" also comped on SUONI MODERNI - THE BEST OF I MARC 4 by Irma label; the killer Underground Psychedelic beat of "SUONI DISTORTI" comped on Black Cat Records "THE PSYCH JAZZY BEAT OF I MARC 4", same track entitled WONDER on GLP 1001; the Lounge jazzy waltz of "LUNA" featured on several compilations with its deep moody Underground motif; the Jazz-Funk beat "PEROCHE" with dope drumming, fat bassline and Antonello's Hammond solos; the great "ALFIO" theme in honor of Alfio Caligani's flute; the lovely exotic Bossa "SULLA SPIAGGIA CON SANDY" and so on.
