Description
Ian A. Anderson - Royal York Crescent (UK - Village Thing VTS3 - 1970) Ex/Ex
Lovely condition copy of this classic album, released in November 1970. Anderson's 3rd album in all, but his first for the Village Thing label. This is the original first pressing - with the original Village Thing 'curly lettering' logo on the label (see image - later issues had Rodney Matthew's cartoon 'thing' logo), fully laminated sleeve and the green on yellow printed insert (later issues were black on yellow).
Alongside Anderson are Ian Hunt (guitar & vocal), John Turner (string bass & piano), Ian Turner (bongoes) and Andy Leggett (whistle & recorder). Pete Siddons and Village Thing acid-folk outfit The Sun Also Rises help with backing vocals on Working Man.

It has been signed by Ian Anderson on the back cover (see image above his head).
Fully laminated cover is clean and shiny with no rubbing creases or other marks - almost as new !. The laminate has lifted slightly at the spine, but this is a minor quibble and doesn't detract from the overall look (see image). Original green & yellow insert is clean with a couple of faint creases on the left hand corners, but they don't spoil the look (see image) no other defects. Labels are clean and free from any spindle marks. Vinyl is clean and shiny with no marks at all - looks like it is unplayed ! A really lovely copy, you'd be hard pressed to find one in better condition.
