Yet another great LP to be auctioned from an absolutely outstanding collection of records which used to belong to a well-known record reviewer. We here at Stamford Audio have never before seen such an amazing collection, and such a sterling one in this kind of outstanding condition is a rarity indeed.
This is Ian Carr's (Nucleus) 1972 LP for Vertigo on the classic swirl label, 6360 076 'Belladonna', in stupendous condition with original inner sleeve. A first pressing with matrix numbers 1/1 and 2/1.
The gatefold matt sleeve is tremendous; only the ghost of a sticker in one corner. Nothing else wrong! Easily grades NEAR MINT!!
The vinyl is equal to the sleeve. The labels are very near untouched. There are a couple of tiny flecks which look like they could be spindle marks, but they are very small. This looks barely played! There is one extremely light mark on side one, track one which is inaudible; the winning bidder will not be disappointed with an LP that we can confidently grade as NEAR MINT!
This LP came from the collection of a well-respected music journalist and we will be listing more of his wonderful records very soon - check our other items.
