With Several connections to the history and early Kraftwerk formed in the Rhineland area in 1971, the quintet was Ibliss formed by percussionist Basil Hammoudi (from Organisation, before the band Kraftwerk), drummer Andreas Hohmann (also from Kraftwerk), brothers Wolfgang and Norbert Büllmeyer (bass and guitar respectively) and Rainer Büchel on sax and flute. With the help of Conny Plank, They recorded Their one and only lp at Hamburg? S-Windrose Studios: four long instrumental tracks in the hypnotic style That takes cues from the teutonic BOTH motorik style and way-out jazz techniques? kind of a floating cosmic fusion sound with a great rhythmic emphasis on the section.
