Misha Mengelberg & Han Bennink – Een Mirakelse Tocht Door Het Scharrebroekse (no. 3)
Originally privately released as a mail-order only set of six flexi-disc singles by Misha Mengelberg and Han Bennink on The instant Composers Pool label (ICP 013), recorded in 1972. Unfortunately this is only one single with picture sleeve.
The sleeve is in EX+ condition and the record is in NM condition.

Misha Mengelberg plays piano and Han Bennink plays drums, khene, soft trumpet, dhung, prepared trombone, etc. Recorded live at De Trapkes in Breda on 16 March 1972. Rarest ICP release ever. Released in 1972 as part of mail order only service.

Mats Gustafson sez, “Bennink and Mengelberg in absolute top form taking it all away, on piano, drums, trumpet, vocals and such… in the typical slightly anarchistic way that is a signum of these two master-minds of European free improvised music. Totally essential music and totally essential release! This period in European free music history is a very active one, just after the language had been established and collaborations had started between the German, English and Dutch schools." Sadly enough, very few releases captured the mind-bending feeling that this one encapsulates so amazingly on all fronts.
