Description
HERE'S "America's Boy Friend," CHARLES "BUDDY" ROGERS in two of his personable, collegiate and jazzy performances, from his latest (1930) Paramount picture, "Safety in Numbers," "I'D LIKE TO BE A BEE IN YOUR BOUDOIR" and "MY FUTURE JUST PASSED."
(n.b., Music for both these tunes is by the immensely gifted RICHARD WHITING, who wrote many strikingly original songs in his short career.)
My Rust Jazz Book doesn't list this record, but it should! On "Bee," My ears detect ADRIAN ROLLINI (bass sax), JIMMY DORSEY (clarinet), STAN KING (drums), and maybe MANNY KLEIN (trumpet) among the jazzers.
This original 1930 "Viva-Tonal" Columbia 2183-D is in nice E- condition.

Shipping is done with expert care.
