IDA HAENDEL – BRAHMS: VIOLIN CONCERTO
HMV mono recording, CLP 1032 ED1, Matrix Nos: 2XEA 446 - 1N / 2XEA 447 - 3N
issued on maroon/gold label. Brahms’s Violin Concerto played by Ida Haendel with Sergiu Celibidache conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.
Disc made in Holland, clean and shiny, side one ex+/nm, side 2 excellent but has harmless very light surface sweeps somewhere in the middle (nothing serious) with NO effects, superb soundquality! Cover made in UK, vg+, has no split and a small part of the laminate layer is missing right on top, see picture, original innersleeve has wrinkles and a split.
