UK first pressing on the maroon gold HMV record label.

The catalogue number is CLP 1021 and was released in 1956
One of the holy grail for collectors, the record itself sold only in tiny
numbers when released. Mono only of course this
shows Haendel at the height of her powers

The record has been well played and this shows in the surface crackle

I have played the record about 5 times and the improvement
in sound quality has been transformed
but you will not get a perfect sound. Not for the super discerning who want a pristine copy
but perfectly listenable and free from major faults like skips or repeats.

Do not expect a mint or excellent copy!

The sleeve is one of those flimsy ones that
were produced in the mid 50's
There is a thumb tear at the opening and general wear on the edges

I play all my records in their entirity and do not
rely on a guess as to how they sound

EXCELLENT audio inspection has revealed no sounding scratches on the playing surface, but there may be a few light crackles and/or tics. The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
VERY GOOD audio inspection has revealed some light tics and The jacket might have creasing or other defects which will be pointed out in the listing.
