My grades are:

My highest grade is reserved for sealed records or guaranteed unplayed stock only. So M- will play and look as new. My most frequent grade is the VG++. VG++ will guarantee you a really fine record. Also I try to note all flaws in my item description!!!!! What you read is what you get. No hidden faults. Therefore please also check the photos, it may sound worse than it looks.

Any visible marks will be checked to see if audible. If record looks as if unplayed I do not always playcheck them, I just don't have the time. If record is playchecked it's stated in the item description. More expensive records will most probably be playchecked though. Any questions about this? Ask me!

Mistakes with grading will no doubt occur at some point. I try to be as accurate as possible but I'm only human (unfortunately!). Be sure to contact me if anything's wrong. Of course I will accept returns if you disagree with my grading and will give money back when record is returned to me in the same shape as it was when it left me.

Label: His Master’s Voice - CLP 1021 - There is NO stereo pressing of this record, so of course this is a mono record...

Issue: Made in the UK - Original Dark Maroon labels w. Gold Printing - First pressing

CONDITION

Record: VERY nice copy!! Looks close to MINT-. I played it and as all copies, this one does play with some light static. Not at all disturbing to my ears. One almost invisible mark makes seven repeated soft ticks, one more mark gives another four repeated soft ticks. So, if you're not a Mint-fanatic (and these old Mono-records doesn't come in Mint) this would be as good a copy as you could expect to find. I'm giving this a strong VG++.

Please note that I have not cleaned this record myself, it comes from a collection that resided in a closet for about 25 years. A thorough cleaning might improve on this record and make it even better sounding.

Cover: Simply superb copy of this very delicate cover. Can’t be many copies left like this. Corners are sharp, except lower right corner that has suffered a very small dent. Lamination is intact with maybe some miniature lifting, some very very small peeling at front opening. I’m picking at the smallest details when noting these flaws. No writing and no tears of course. Spine is perfect, as new. Edges are strong and flipbacks are just perfect. Strong VG++.
Labels have no writing, no tears, a few small spindle marks. Beautiful!

Details:
Matrix numbers 2XEA 472-2N/ 2XEA 473-1N. Stampers 1G/1G. The "G" would mean that this is a very early copy of the first pressing!

It even has the original inner sleeve, a very thin and cheap-looking one but in unharmed condition which only has the text "Made in England" on it, and for extra bonus the inner sleeve also has an original piece of seal-tape still hanging on, printed with the HMV-logo. From the original store that sold this copy no doubt, they store-sealed it with this piece of tape and the buyer had the sense to let it stay there. Cool!! I’ve included photos of these extra “bonuses”.

Please note that I have not cleaned these records! Cleaning will be left to the highest bidder to take care of to his/her liking. Highest bidder will have to pay for insurance/registered mail on this record.

SHIPPING

First of all, PLEASE ignore any other prices regarding shipping costs except what is stated right below in this column.

I use strong new boxes for shipping. I always remove the record from the sleeve and seal them both in a plastic sleeve. I also add extra cardboard inside the package to protect the record.

Yes, I will wait for you to add extra titles for combined shipping. Ask me first though! If your combined winnings exceed 100 GBP I must insist on registered mail, which means an extra cost but also the possibility of tracking your package. This is because I need to guard myself against the (few) imposters that bid on records and then claim they have not received the package. I charge actual shipping costs, what the Swedish post charges me. I can't charge you less! Airmail only, it's not possible to send surface mail from Sweden. The prices you can check by consulting the Swedish Postal Service.

Shipping costs within Europe:

1 LP: 12 USD (up to 0,5 kg)
2-3 LP's: 21 USD (up to 1 kg)
4-7 LP's: 33 USD (up to 2 kg)

Shipping costs outside Europe:

1 LP: 13 USD (up to 0,5 kg)
2-3 LP's: 25 USD (up to 1 kg)
4-7 LP's: 39 USD (up to 2 kg)

Please note: These prices may vary a little but are correct for your average weight record. Boxed sets differ somewhat of course. Also older records mostly of the fifties and/or with heavy covers. I can't be responsible if your package gets lost in the mail, sorry! It has never happened to me but you never know. For your safety I strongly urge you to choose registered mail. NOTE: Italian and french bidders will have to pay for registered mail, too many packages seem to get "lost" there, sorry! If you feel that this is unfair, then contact me and maybe we'll come to a solution.
