Description
This is a vintage Ideal Toy Company cardboard flexi-disc from 1961. It's DICK TRACY PUPPET RECORD featuring the TV voice of Dick Tracy. The man who voiced Dick Tracy during the cartoon run was Everett Sloane. This record was cut & trimmed by a previous owner. It was originally square but was cut to make it round like a 45. See the pics for further details. The record is only visually graded under a strong light. This cardboard toy record is graded Good at the minimum. It's still a bit glossy and colorful. There's some marks on it obviously from usage decades ago. The playability of this is unknown to me but it appears that it'd play all the way thru if you know how to use these old school flexi discs. I remember back then you had to sometimes put a coin on it so the record would have a little weight to it and actually rotate under the needle & tone arm. It's been sitting for decades in a bag of 45's down in the basement, untouched for many years. I don't have the equipment to play test this record nor a record cleaning machine. This is, for me anyway, just a collectible. The other side of this record is blank, white, & shows marks, scuffs and a little creasing.
