Original Italian pressing on the ARIETE label (ARL 2015), from 1974. Stylish Italian soundtrack by the cult composers for an obscure, art house / high fashion / psychological thriller set in Rome. A film by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi (the director of Metti Una Sera A Cena) starring an emotionally disturbed Liz Taylor with brief cameo by Andy Warhol playing the part of an eccentric British nobleman :) Beautiful, psychedelic mood music, mostly downtempo / trippy jazz themes but our soundclip opens with the B-boy lounge funk of LIZ FIVE and infectious funky reprise of LIZ SEVEN. Great for DJs. We have recorded all of side B aptly named, "Elizabeth suite" (dedicated to the amazing actress), including the mellow fender rhodes jazz of LIZ FOUR and sexy giallo thriller influenced sounds of LIZ SIX with jazzy vibraphone and glistening e-piano motif. Some other themes should also appeal to Franco Cerri collectors as the sublime guitar playing on this session is also refined and delicate too. Same cult label that released the Gianni Ferrio - La Morte Accarezza A Mezzanotte aka Death Walks At Midnight giallo horror masterpiece and Bruno Nicolai - Femmine Insaziabili soundtrack. Outstanding pop art sleeve artwork by Manfredo, showing a demented Liz Taylor writhing on the ground (front) and BDSM / sexy bondage influenced, tied hands imagery to back sleeve. Rare OST Lp!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) but all themes on both sides (due to the actual pressing), especially "Identikit suite" side A (which is not important) do play with varying degrees of surface noise. Some static noises / soft pops too (as you can hear). Some hairlines and faint, faded old pressing marks. The soft card sleeve is in VG++ condition overall with mostly sharp corners and edges. Light ring wear with ring dirt marks and some creasing from storage. Small, old archive sticker to top right corner of back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare OST Lp!!!
