Description
IDLES Brutalism Debut 2017 Original 1st Press LP.
The front sleeve is fully signed by all of the band.. Joe / Mark (BoBo) / Lee / Adam (Dev) / Jon in black ink. The album was signed at the bands 'Joy' album launch show at the Wardrobe in Leeds on Friday 31st August 2018
The record itself is in solid VG+ Condition. There are 3 tiny little surface points on the 2nd track on the b-side (Rachel Khoo) - 2 of which can just be seen in the last photo. These are not audible on playing & don't affect sound quality or tracking in any way, it must just have been something minor when the record was pressed. The inner card sleeve is in NM condition. The original gatefold sleeve is NM condition and it's still in it's cellophane (it was carefully removed for the signing & replaced afterwards when all the signatures had fully dried out)
Just to verify that this is the original first press, the vinyl does come in it's original heavy card brown sleeve and the has the matrix codes 'BALLEY-001-A MPO The Carvery' ETCHED on the A-Side run out groove & 'BALLEY-001-B The Carvery MPO' ETCHED on the B-Side run out groove as per the discogs listing for this first edition release. There is also no barcode on the back sleeve. (It was only the original 1st press that came like this, as all the represses have the catalogue number STAMPED on the run out groove & come in a pink card sleeve with a barcode on the back sleeve)
