Ultra rare item here and very essential box because it is one of the best historical interpretation of the RUSSIAN BALLET music ..In fact IGOR MARKEVITCH personnally knew DIAGUILEV and was an interpret of most of the composer of htis RUSSIAN BALLET as STRAVINSKY / PROKOFIEV / DEBUSSY etc ..This recording is a 1954 recording , the way of conducting and the atmosphere are a top orchestral released , the rendering is amazing ..SO ICAN'T RECOMMEDED THIS RECORDS MORE ..AND FINALLY the packaging of this recordings is also amazing , with a french deluxe BOX a la MOZART A PARIS ...superb ultra refined insert and orig columbia deluxe inner sleeve ..Very limited pressing , no more than a 1000 exist .

CONDITION , the box and inserts plus inner sleeve are EX+ very clean ( only light corner uses but hardly visible ) with orig protecting inner sleeve and columbia deluxe sleeve with tracklisting on it ..Heavy mono 50°s pressing very heavy wax , the records look vg++ mostly due to inner paper sleeve marks , finally the marks doesn't sound and the records all play EX- with very minor surface noise here and there , ALSO NOTE that record one and three are very lightly warped ( but i say it but it does not affect the perfect playing , the warping is very minor but i prefer to mention it ) ..I try the whole set two times on two different turntables ( so you won't have any wrong surprise about condition ) LISTENING IS A REAL EX- CONFORTABLE LISTENING
