vinyl: EX+ (Vinyl is shiny and beautiful in most every way! Music plays Strong and Loud throughout both sides with no loud, distracting or notable pops or noise at all to mention. Truly a strong playing LP throughout. Vinyl is still extremely shiny with just a couple very light surface marks/scuffs, nothing at all notable or effecting play whatsoever. Record has likely only been played just a few times ever in it's lifetime. Please do listen to the excerpts taken directly from the actual record. Really nice extremely rare private press LP!)
cover: EX (Cover looks great! There's just a touch of edge & shelf wear & just a hint of discoloring on the back cover. No seam splits, writing or other notable wear at all to mention. A really wonderful looking cover all around! Really NICE!!)
This auction is for the in-demand and extremely RARE private press LP "THE ANSWER" by the IHS BAND, a killer record listed in Acid Archives!! This record has a few real fuzzed-out garage psych gems on it like the amazing "Just Another Day" and "Judgement Day", both full of some crazy freaked-out fuzz stinging guitar work. Other tracks have a great Grateful Dead-style country-tingued boogie rock vibe with a lot of vocals about drinking & hard living oddly mixed with a xian message all at the same time...please do listen the song excerpts below. This record definitely has a sound of it's own, very much homebrew sounding but still quite professionally recorded as well. I have set the opening bid very low with no reserve.
