Description
I use the RARE RECORD COLLECTOR GUIDE grading standards: (NM, EX, VG, G)
IKE QUEBEC – Heavy Soul, 1st. US 1962 mono pressing Vinyl LP, BLUE NOTE New York BLP 4093, RVG and “ear” (Plastylite Pressing), non-laminated thick US cover.
The record grades: (VG-). The very thick vintage LP shows many hairlines, many scuffs, marks and some thin superficial needle traces. All marks are smooth to the touch and cannot be felt by the fingertip. No deep scratches. Beautifully recorded and engineered original mono pressing with a strong, deep, rich and vibrant sound and a powerful dynamic cut. The record plays very dynamic with no distortion and no skips but noisy with constant background crackle and occasional ticks which do not overpower the music. The thick US Cover grade (VG-) and shows wear, ring wear, edge wear, spine wear, tape on all seams, WOC, split in the sine, tears on back cover, rubber radio station stamp on back cover (please see the Photos).
Die sehr dicke LP wurde sehr oft abgespielt und hat viele haarfeine Kratzer, Scuffs, Gebrauchsspuren sowie dünne oberflächliche Kratzer. Die LP spielt sehr dynamisch, ohne Distorsionen oder Skips (Sprünge) aber mit konstanten Knistern und Ticks die aber nicht lauter sind als die Musik. Das dicke US Cover hat viele Gebrauchsspuren, Ring Wear, Abnutzungen auf Kanten, Ecken und Spine, Riss in der Spine, WOC (Schrift auf Cover), Tesa auf allen Kanten (siehe bitte die Fotos).
