UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN LAMINATED SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL HARVEST INNER SLEEVE.

An unusual release for the harvest label in 1970, which was mainly a progressive-rock label, but it it also distributed the USA label Blue Thumb in the UK, hence this release. It did not sell very well, and is one of the rarer Harvest titles these days.

This glorious, high quality UK EMI pressing is on superb medium-weight vinyl, and has the vey first matrix/mother/stamper combination commercially available - the 1 / G mother stamper being found only on the Factory Sample/promo pressings. Thus, this is the earliest first pressing, one of perhaps 300-500 copies ever pressed until a new stamper was cut with the letter A.

SLEEVE: EXCELLENT MINUS, A SLEEVE IN SUPERB CONDITION CONSIDERING IT IS NOW 35 YEARS OLD, JUST THE LIGHTEST OF SHELF WEAR. INNER SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD+ BUT MISSING THE POLY-LINED INNER PART, WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING BECAUSE THESE TENDED TO SWEAT ON THE VINYL DOWN THE YEARS AND SO THIS DISC HAS ESCAPED THAT FATE.

DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS. NO SCRATCHES. MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR, JUST A FEW LIGHT HAIRLINES AND PLAY SCUFFS. A SPLENDID PLAYING COPY WITH AWESOME AUDIO. CLEAN LABELS.
