GET SET FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS WORTH OF ROCK LPs ON THE RARE AND OBSCURE SIDE! This is an ORIGINAL 1968 U.S. ABC RECORDS LP titled 'Flashes' from Jefferson Airplane-influenced psychedelic rockers Ill Wind. It is ABC Records catalog number ABCS-641, and is a GENUINE 1968 BLACK ABC RECORDS LABEL ORIGINAL PRESSING WITH BLACKENED BACK COVER PICTURES, NOT A REISSUE. The original ABC Records inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current ABC Records releases is also included. Ill Wind is: Ken Frankel-lead guitar, banjo / Richard Griggs-rhythm guitar, vocals / Carey Mann-bass, vocals / David Kinsman-drums / Connie Devanney-lead vocals. Tracks: Walkin' And Singin', Sleep, Little Man, Dark World, L.A.P.D., High Flying Bird, Hung Up Chick, People Of The Night, Full Cycle. Condition of record is a real nice high VG+/VG++ with just a very few small and light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a high VG/low VG+ with a 6" split in the right half of the top edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside), some flaking along the left half of the top edge, a small drill hole in the lower left area of the cover, indicating a promo or a cutout copy, a few small wrinkles, a moderate amount of contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some other general wear along the edges and on the corners. This RARE LP would make a choice addition to any 1960s psychedelic rock record collection!
