Here's a late item by PAUL SPECHT AND HIS ORCHESTRA, of lively 1929 fox-trots:
"I'M SAILING ON A SUNBEAM" and "I'M FOLLOWING YOU"
This record is a little mysterious: The tunes are nice, and were "hits" briefly in '29, but they didn't have much staying power after that. YET - here they are on a "Royal Blue" Columbia, produced between 1932 and 36! I wonder howcum Columbia kept them in the catalogue for so long?
This original 1929 Blue Wax pressing of Columbia 2056-D is in splendid E condition.
