Those were great time, when you could still others really get offended with Black Metal. This was what happened in 1994 with IMPALED NAZARENE's 3rd work '' Suomi Finland Perkele ''. If you want to find out what means "Suomi Finland Perkele" is all about, you will have to take a Finnish language course. With this 11 tracks, the 4 chaos maniacs from the far north had taken another big step forward. Primitive but very atmospheric Black Metal blast, shaped by Mika Luttinen's unmistakable hateful voice. No orders from Norway accepted! Flanked by this motto, IMPALED NAZARENE from Oulu set themselves the ultimate goal at the beginning of the 90s to unconditionally question the supremacy of their Scandinavian neighbors in matters of Black Metal. One would think an unequal fight, but at least with their 3rd album ''Suomi Finland Perkele'' the gentlemen were able to book a grand stage victory. "Suomi Finland Perkele" stays right at the top of the icy throne, as a dark, seductive rough diamond of black art of song, in its melodic versatility as repulsively cold as it is hypnotically sparkling, a manic sensory intoxication that is still unparalleled today.
