IN THE LAND OF GREY AND PINK - CARAVAN DERAM SDL R1 (ZAL 10424 P)
RECORD IS VISUALLY EXCELLENT. IT SHOWS SOME VERY MINOR SLEEVE REMOVAL TYPE MARKS WHICH DO NOT AFFECT PLAY.
RECORD AUDIO IS NEAR MINT. WHILST LISTENING TO THIS IT WAS EASY TO FORGET IT WAS ACTUALLY A RECORD AT TIMES. NOT ONLY IS IT EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, IT MUST ALSO BE A VERY GOOD PRESSING.
SLEEVE IS EXCELLENT. THE SLEEVE IS VIRTUALLY IMMACULATE. IT WOULDN'T SURPRISE ME IF THIS RECORD HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED A FEW TIMES. IF IT'S BEEN PLAYED MORE THAN THIS, IT HAS BEEN LOOKED AFTER AMAZINGLY. IT DOES SHOW SOME SLIGHT DISCOLOURATION ON THE GATEFOLD FROM AGING.
INNER SLEEVE IS NEAR MINT. IT IS A MID 70'S DECCA INNER SLEEVE AND IT LOOKS AS THOUGH IT'S HARDLY EVER SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY.
ALL RECORDS WILL COME IN A MAILER WITH STIFFENERS AND A PLASTIC RESEALABLE OUTER SLEEVE. THE RECORDS WILL BE SENT IN A NEW POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE WITH THE ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE SEPARATED.
I AM NOT A DEALER. THESE ARE RECORDS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. I HAVE SINCE EITHER OBTAINED BETTER CONDITION COPIES OR OLDER PRESSINGS. RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerprice rating
