Incredible Bongo Band – Bongo Rock MGM 2315 255 A 1973

For some this is the greatest Hip-Hop break album of all time. The breaks come fast and heavy through this instrumental record. To list all the people who have sampled this record would take a week. "Apache" is an all-time B-boy classic and despite its popularity with Hip-Hop, it never seems to get old or tired, because of the monster breaks that just keep coming from beginning to end. Every single song has hard clean drum breaks. It’s just the single best break record of all-time. My favorite is the breakdown on "Last Bongo In Belgium" sampled by the Beastie Boys on "Looking Down the Barrel of A Gun", the break just goes on and on and on for like two minutes. Sick! When people become Hip-Hop DJs this is the first record they should get. A Monster classic. Super condition, Italian Pressing.

Cover/Record: VG++/VG++ Cover looks great, it has a slight bent on the bottom corner, and very slight ring wear. The record is the Italian Pressing, has few scuffs but they have no effect. "Apache" has the slightest (less than a half second) of cue burn before it begins, but it is barely noticeable.
