On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Incredible String Band called "The Incredible String Band" and is an ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Elektra' label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1966 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LABELS (AND COVER ADDRESS!)!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AMAZINGLY, THIS LP HAS THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS ONLY 'WHITE/GREEN' ELEKTRA LABELS - THAT ONLY EVER APPLIED TO 'TRUE' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!!!!  AND THIS MAKES THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY!!!!  THIS LP SOLD ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLY ON RELEASE IN 1966 (ON THE 1ST PRESS WHITE/GREEN LABELS!) AND WAS DELETED SOON AFTERWARDS.  ONLY LATER ON IN 1967 - WHEN THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND BECAME MORE POPULAR DID ELEKTRA RE-PRESS THIS LP, AND IT SOLD IN FAR GREATER AMOUNTS.  HOWEVER, BY THEN - ELEKTRA HAD DROPPED THE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'WHITE/GREEN' LABELS IN FAVOUR OF THE CURRENT (AT THE TIME) ORANGE ELEKTRA LABELS INSTEAD!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  BECAUSE, ONLY THE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSINGS FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' BACK IN 1966 (IMMEDIATELY DELETED!), EVER CAME WITH THIS ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS ONLY 'WHITE/GREEN' ELEKTRA LABEL - AND BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!)!!!!  ALL LATER PRESSINGS NEVER HAD THIS LABEL AT ALL - AND WITH THIS '1ST PRESS ONLY' WHITE/GREEN ELEKTRA LABEL, IT MAKES THIS THE RAREST INCREDIBLE STRING BAND LP EVER MADE (AND ALSO THE ALL TIME RAREST LP ON THE ELEKTRA LABEL!)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - THE COVER IS ALSO THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER EVER MADE, WITH THE CORRECT & 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '7 POLAND ST. ADDRESS ON THE REVERSE!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EUK 254 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press White/Green Elektra label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks, only 1 TINY scuffline, only 2 or 3 TINY surface marks, only 1 MEGA light hairline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a VERY few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press FULLY Laminated MONO Cover (with the EARLIEST 1st Press 'Poland St.' address!) is in GREAT condition - and is still a VERY decent cover indeed, with NO major defects AT ALL!!!!  It has NO rips, NO tears, NO edge wear (apart from a TINY touch on the top edge), NO spinal wear (apart from 3 or 4 TINY 'touching in' traces!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a MEGA thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), the usual laminate record impression, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, barely ANY yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  This cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not Very Good - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
