(for track listing and other information, please see photos)

Cat No : EKS 74057

Label : ELEKTRA ( ** original RED label ** )

Issue : UK 1969 - ( ** A1/B1 FIRST PRESSING ** ) STEREO

Matrix/Stamper codes: 74057 A//1 11 and 74057 B//1 11 10

Condition : Disc = VERY GOOD+ / Sleeve = VERY GOOD

A Very Good+ condition disc. Would have been graded Excellent other than for a couple of very minor pressing imperfections which cause a couple of clicks on Track 2 Side 1, and Track 1 Side 2. Otherwise, a few very difficult-to-see hairline surface marks, which can only be seen in a strong light, from where the record has been taken out of it's sleeve over the years. No spindle marks. Shiny lustrous vinyl. No writing on labels. Excellent clean labels on both sides. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, scuffs or deep scratches to vinyl. Excellent sound quality generally (apart from the issues previously mentioned). Very little surface noise, and this is a very quiet recording. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Gatefold sleeve in Very Good condition. Unlaminated, with some general wear, especially to edges and corners. No seam splits anywhere. Some wear to spine, and some text no longer legible. No creases. No writing anywhere.

Supplied in original white inner sleeve with polythene insert, which is in Very Good condition, with no seam splits, but some age related discolouration.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
