Original Stereo LP EMI Records OCSD-7697 , released 1972. Gatefold cover.
Indelible Murtceps was the alter-ego of Spectrum, who were at the fore-front of progressive rock in Australia in the early 1970's. Features "We are Indelible" , "Esmeralda", and the legendary track "Some Good Advice" ,a 13 minute long anthem to pot-smoking. The latter track particularly encapsulates the Spectrum/Murtceps sound with fantastic interlocking of guitar and electric piano over the main riff supported by the underlying bass bottom end and drums .The album features a brown cardboard gatefold cover and a quaint hand-drawn cartoon by Mike Rudd on the front.

Condition:
Record - VG+ :This record is in very good condition. There are some light surface marks and a number of sleeve scuffs however it plays very well with excellent dynamics. Some background noise is heard but only during very quiet sections of the record or between tracks.The record has excellent gloss/sheen. There is no writing on the labels.
Cover -VG+: Overall the cover is in great condition. Front cardboard cover with no ring wear, edges sharp and crisp although there is a little scuffing at the very top of the spine. The cardboard of the front cover is a little "grubby" and has a few inconspicuous stains, mainly near its right-hand edge however this does not distract from the overall appearance. The inner-gatefold photo is in excellent condition and shows no sign of ageing or ring wear. The spine shows very little wear, with title, band and label number extremely legible.There are no splits on the spine. Back cover very clean and crisp, with a diagonal crease near the top right hand corner. Bottom seam of back cover with a couple of inconspicuous splits, one 3cm long midway along its length ,the other 2cm long near sleeve opening. There is no writing anywhere on the covers.
This a clean, well cared for pressing of a very collectable Australian prog/psych. album of the 1970's by The Indelible Murtceps/Spectrum.
