Artist: K.L. Saigal
Tracks: Laayee Hayaat Aaye, Qazaa le Chalee Chale
Excellent NON-FILM song by Saigal (also "Saigol") sung in Urdu. Lyrics by famed Urdu poet Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim, known as "Zauq" (1789-1854).
This came from collector Benno Haupl's personal collection - he had the lyrics transliterated from Urdu script, and also in English - which I will include here.
Condition: V++ (very light wear, though down a notch due to typical Indian pressing grain)
