Artist: T. Chowdiah
Tracks: Ragam Alapana, Pt 1 (Sankarabharanam) / Raga Alapana Pt 2 (Thanam, Ragamalika)

Absolutely outstanding South Indian violin solo, by the great T. Chowdiah (1895-1967) - noted for not only being a master Carnatic musician, but also for playing his own brand of 7-string violin, to increase volume and create sympathetic drones.

Recorded ca. early 1936. Top notch record!

Condition: V+ (light marks, scuffs - plays evenly and well!)
