Description
This debut release by Dutch hardcore punkers Indirekt is so megarare most people don't even know it exists. Well, in March 1983, a full year before their "Nieuws voor doven..." EP, they recorded and released this 11-song tape in a press run of, count 'em, 50 copies! Actually this is number 13, as you can see on the scan (next to the date of release). I know from insiders' circles none of this stuff is going to be on their 2CD-discography which is supposed to be out soon; apparently they think this stuff is too primitive as they'd only been together for 6 months at this point. Well, the primitivity is what I love about this tape! Even though the recording quality is very good, here Indirekt employs a full-on distorto approach on both guitar and bass that makes this sound like Disorder/Chaos UK (but with a melodic girl singer, of course!). Most of the songs never showed up on their records, the track listing is: Haagse Bluf/ Hiroshima/ Tros Aktua TV/ Liefde/ Neo-Nazis/ Klitten/ Ceylon Melange/ VVD/ EO/ Jan Soldaat/ Ko-Kerk. The only setback (well, this is nr. 13 after all): I lost the booklet, which held all the information; there's nothing on the inlay, not even the track listing (but I'll print that out for you).
On Mar-23-06 at 04:26:06 PST, seller added the following information: Oh yeah, this tape is often called "Groeten uit Hoorn", because that's what it said on the back of the booklet. 3 or 4 tracks from this tape appeared on Holland Hardcore 2 (not the live stuff!).price rating
