PLEASE READ AD CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU.

WARNING:

PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOUR FEEDBACK SCORE IS 0 OR 1. I AM SORRY, BUT YOU MAY BLAME THE SCAMMERS.

Up for bids is an original Mono LP by The Beatles called "Introducing The Beatles" on Vee Jay Records. Released in 1964.

RARE VERSION:

Both back cover and Side 2 label incorrectly lists "Please Please Me" (WITHOUT the comma)!

Original rainbow border labels with brackets logo at top.

Both title and artist name are above the spindle hole.

"Chains" credited correctly to Goffin-King on label.

Side 1's Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) starts with a very faint, faint stamped "Audio Matrix" followed by hand-etched "63-3402-1" with the hand-etched date "2-6-64" under that, then a hand-etched "ARC 284", followed by a hand-etched "URJ", and finally what appears to be a hand-etched "1A1".

Side 2's Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) starts with a very faint, faint stamped "Audio Matrix" followed by hand-etched "63-3403-1" with the hand-etched date "2-6-64" under that, then a hand-etched "ARC 2-8-4", followed by a hand-etched "URJ", and finally what appears to be a hand-etched "1A".

This is NOT a reissue, counterfeit or boot! It is a real pressing from 1964. I have had this double-verified by a leading expert involving Beatles Vee Jay releases. I will provide his name only upon e-mail request and will keep the e-mail private.

PLEASE NOTE that I proudly use the Perry Cox Beatles price guide for grading and reference.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

Cover is in VG condition. Front and back have some minor wear. Front of cover has a name written on the top-right. Bottom of cover is split across 10 3/4", but it is a clean split. No other splits on cover. Spine is all intact.

I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG+. Plenty of gloss and shine! Has a couple of minor marks that don't affect play. Side 2 has a deep scratch towards the end that is not too noticeable thanks to the track being "Twist And Shout"! Overall, it sounds amazing on my player!

Makes a great gift for any Beatles fan!

See my other auctions for more funky original records, cassettes, reel to reels, CD’s, and 8 tracks!

MY APOLOGIES IF THE SCANS ARE BAD, BUT MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE USUALLY DEAD ACCURATE FOR BACKUP.
