Introducing Johnny Griffin -
Blue Note BLP 1533 - Original Deep Groove Flat Edge Mono LP
Vinyl is a "3 to 3+". LP - Surface wear on both sides, light scratches cause light/moderate surface noise, and on A 3 there is a distinct scratch that is audible for about 2 minutes. The music is clear and completely enjoyable, but there is light surface noise below the level of the music throughout the LP. Lp is deep groove, flat edge, Lexington Ave. label, ear, RVG stamp.
Jacket is a "3.5/4".

Features Johnny Griffin, Wynton Kelly, Curly Russell, Max Roach.
5+ = An unplayed record still protected by bag or shrink wrap.
5 = Record appears to have no signs of usage.
4.5 = Record most carefully used, with little or no appearance of previous handling.
4 = Record Well Cared For, Superior Sound Quality, with minor signs of handling and usage.
3.5 = Record shows some light usage, with a very few moments of intermittent surface noise possible.
3 = A record with just a few moments of surface noise, possible light scratches and scuffs, with no prolonged instances of surface noise.
JACKET GRADING
5 = A jacket showing little or no wear, with no marks on front or back. Seams, spine, corners are not worn to any degree.
4.5 = A jacket that shows only light wear-assume good corners edges and spine and reasonably fine appearance.
4 = A jacket that shows reasonable respect in handling…light shelf wear can be expected, but no damage to the structure of the jacket.
3 = Jackets may have seam split repairs, or small seam splits, corner and edge wear can be more obvious. Some LPs in this category have pretty good looking jackets, just edge and seam wear.
