~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this original Ultra Rare Mono debut self titled Lp by The Beatles on Vee Jay Records VJLP 1062, original U.S.A. Pressing from 1964.

This is an original ultra rare MONO U.S.A. pressing release by Vee Jay Records.
Many versions and variations of this Lp exist in both Mono and Stereo form.
This is the last Standard Version with the rainbow style label and the bracket style VJ Logo featuring the "Please, Please Me" and the "Ask Me Why" song title tracks.
As per Perry Cox"s Beatle Guide, this original pressing has "Audio Matrix" mechanically stamped in the vinyl trail-off and the URJ hand scribed Italic initials in the vinyl trail-off ( New Jersey Pressing Plant ).
A super FINE near mint example of this rare Mono release in true near mint condition in the original shrink wrap.
Virtually almost impossible to find such a beautiful copy.
Every available copy that seams to come up is never near mint or is a counterfeit. This fine original copy is the exemption.
Both front and rear covers are virtually near perfect and retain all their complete full brilliant crisp bright colors.
All seams, spines and jacket opening edges are also near perfect - intact, super crisp, tight and square other than light paper crinkling loss.
Both labels are super clean and look like new and the vinyl also looks like new and retains it's full original brilliant high gloss finish except for 1 small almost invisible paper sleeve mark.

Also featured with this fabulous original Beatle item is the original issued super clean and crisp Vee Jay inner sleeve that is in fantastic near mint condition without any paper folds.
Impossible to upgrade this stunning copy unless it was still sealed!

I have made a point to scan all the outside edges of this item as well for a full and complete view of the actual near mint condition of this item.
The front cover scans reveal a rainbow like prism reflection glare which is caused from the original type of shrink wrap used in the original production run.
A very reasonable reserve price is being offered on this item...certainly less than one half of Jerry Osborne's record guide book value from 2000...and that was 10 years ago!
