Here is a GENUINE original Mono 1964 INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles., Vee Jay Records VJ 1092.  This is the US Release of the British Release of  Please, Please Me from 1964.  This version is hard-to-find and it’s an original.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

-       3/4/ Gatefold cover

-       VJ Bracketed label with Introducing the Beatles and The Beatles above the spindle hole

-       VJ1092 is on the Front Cover, Spine and Labels

-       Pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co.

CONDITION

Record:  VERY GOOD+.  This record plays with no skips or distortion.  There are some scuffmarks and superficial scratches with some crackle especially in the soft parts.  There are some tic sounds on Ask Me Why.   The spindle holes are in excellent shape.  Record shines and appears not to have been over played.  Amazing playing condition for a record from this era.

Cover/Labels:  VERY GOOD. The cover has some wear on the front and back with some minor tears---a 4 inch seam split on the top and a 2 inch split on the bottom seam.  A little wear on the corners of the spine, with the spine very much intact.  No tape, no writing, no price stickers, but there is wear on the corners.   

All Vinyl is stored in Collector Protector Archival Quality Record Sleeves with the Original Cover and inserts stored in Plastic Sleevesto preserve the integrity of the recording and album cover for years to come.  Please see pictures for the visual details.
