INTRODUCING THE BEATLES VINYL LP 1964 VEE-JAY RECORDS MONO

This release appears as one of two known label variations pressed by the Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute.


Identifying Characteristics:

- Labels: all black, with silver 'VJ' caption and lettering.

- Back cover: includes "Please, Please Me" (with comma) and "Ask Me Why"

- Labels have "Side 1" and "Side 2" in upper and lowercase letters.

- 'I Saw Her Standing There' starts with Paul's saying "Four!"

- Vee Jay Records


The runout etchings of this release are identical to those of the Monarch rainbow label release, except for the "X" ending "? 6307X" etched on Side B. The "MR" logo stamp has been scratched out.
