The Beatles "Introducing the Beatles" 1964 LP on Vee-Jay

Three-quarter cover on front with "Songs, Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles" with Black & White photo with their signatures.  On right side, "Look inside for a complete story of their favorite male and female singer, their favorite foods, types of girls, sport, hobby, songs, colors, real name, birthplace, birthdays, height, education, color of hair & eyes.  Very interesting information about the boys from Liverpool. 

Did you know...that Ringo was the only Beatle with blue eyes?  That Ringo was the shortest Beatle at 5'8?"  George Harrison has hazel eyes and was educated at the Liverpool Institute.  Paul was born on June 18, 1942 and his favorite actress was Ann Margaret!  John Lennon was 5'11" and weighed only 150 pounds.  At the time of the release of this LP, all were single!  On the back cover, their photos with "Ringo Loves, Paul Loves, etc." You could paste your photo under your favorite Beatle and your friends' photos under their favorites!

Album label is black and marked "VJ" with "VEE-JAY RECORDS" on two lines underneath - all in silver print, no brackets.  The store price tag is still on the back cover "$2.99."  Number on vinyl is VJLP 1062; number on jacket is VJ 1092.

Vinyl Condition:  VG (Very Good  - There are light scratches that I don't believe will affect the play; there are a couple of heavier scratches on side 2, so there is a possibility of skipping, but don't believe that it will)

Jacket Condition:  VG (Very Good - Jacket looks good; however, heavy wear around seams and corners; top seam is partially split; original price tag on back cover and there is some damage to lower back - looks as if a sticker may have been on and was removed)

Records are visually graded

MINT (M)  Absolutely perfect in every way - never played; still sealed. 

NEAR MINT (NM) A nearly perfect record.  Record and jacket show no obvious signs of wear.  

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience.  A Very Good Plus record is highly acceptable.

VERY GOOD (VG)  May have light scratches that could affect the sound.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers attached. 

GOOD (G) or GOOD PLUS (G+) Good does not mean bad!  A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping, but it may have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.  A jacket or sleeve may have seam splits.

POOR (P) FAIR (F) Record may be cracked or warped and won't play through without skipping or repeating.  LP jacket barely keeps the LP inside.  Inner sleeves may have fully split seams, writing, etc.
