IPI Tombi Original Cast Recording & Stage Production 3 x 12" Stereo 1975 Vinyl LP's

IPI-TOMBI Original Cast recording Galaxy GALD 26000 Stereo & IPI-TOMBI Music from the Stage Production (South Africa) Galaxy GAL 6001

I inherited these LP's so have never played them. The condition is my opinion after a visual check but I am no expert or record dealer so please please view the photographs, sorry for the reflections, and email me any questions before bidding. This iconic show which brought South African native music to the attention of the wider world should appeal to enthusiasts, collectors and/or resellers. Included are: 

Bertha Egnos & Gail Lakier's IPI - TOMBI Original Cast recording Double Album Galaxy GALD 26000 (1975):

  • Record 1: Looks excellent, not played very much if at all, and

  • Record 2: Also looks excellent, not played very much if at all. 

  • Cover: Double Album gatefold cover looks excellent for its age but the right hand side needs the top regluing.

  • The Inner Sleeves:  Both very good for their age. 1 polylined has creases and a 8cm approx tear down one side whilst the other isn't polylined but apart from some creases is in excellent condition.

IPI-TOMBI Music from the Stage Production (original South African recording) Galaxy GAL 6001 Stereo 1975

  • Record: Looks excellent and doesn't appear to have been played much if at all, 

  • Cover: Double album style gatefold album which looks excellent with only an odd crease as shown, 

  • The Inner Sleeve: Plain white also excellent condition.
