Comes in a beautiful gatefold jacket with pictures and texts from Jean Baptiste Barriere. The pieces featured here are John Chowning's "STRIA" for magnetic band, Jean-Claude Risset's "SONGES", for magnetic band, Jonathan Harvey's "MORTUOS PLANGO, VIVOS VOCO" for concrete sounds treated by computer, Tod Machover's "Soft Morning, City!" for magnetic band, soprano and contrabass, Mesias Maiguashca's "FMELODIES" for magnetic band and ensemble, York Holler's "RESONANCE" for magnetic band synthetised by computer and chamber orchestra, Morton Subotnick's "The Double life of Amphibians" for live electronics and ensemble and last Pierre Boulez's "REPONS".
