Artist: Irene Ryder Title: Irene Ryder Label: EMI Regal Catalog number: SREG 9611 Year issued: 1973 Pressing: Hong Kong stereo pressing 1st issue Vinyl condition: Near Mint Sleeve condition: Near Mint with original plastic overwrap still intact Notes: Irene Ryder was a local Hong Kong star, dubbed “A-Go-Go Queen” in 1966 due to her dancing skills and went on to record a single in 1969, “Baby Baby”, with Bruce Lee’s brother Robert. She gained a broader audience due to her soulful delivery of standard pop songs and, known for her beauty, also starred in movies and modelled. At the height of her stardom in 1977, she was attacked and set on fire by an assailant, effectively ending her career.
