IRMA THOMAS "WISH SOMEONE WOULD CARE" white mono promo (audition) lp on Imperial LP-9266 US issue (1964) VG/G+.

I would grade this LP VG. I will only auction VG condition LPs that are “classic recordings” or just very old, interesting and hard-to-find LPs. These records will probably have a healthy amount of play and visible scuffs or lines that do affect play. The record still plays through nicely; it’s just an obviously much appreciated  recording. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM  RESULTS RE-CLEAN EACH SIDE  AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). Aretha will always be the Queen Of Soul to me but Irma has always been second for me. In the late 90's Tracy Nelson and Marsha Ball paid homage to their favorite singer by putting together a tour with their idol. I was lucky enough to have caught the show in Chicago an it was amazing (the cd from this collaboration though good just can't capture the "live" shows). The most amazing thing to me bout the show was that Irma's voice just got stronger and stronger as the show progressed. Truly amazing performance. This plays VG-VG+ with no major crackups. Nice white mono promo copy.

The Jacket: In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover G+ overall with heavy seam corner and ring wear. Showing it's age more than the lp.    (I only be citing things not visible in pictures)(I do not remove stickers unless they come off easily. I leave that for the buyer).
