Label: EMI Records Year: 1980
First UK pressing from 1980. Vinyl is in very good condition, no scratches and no issues on playback. The sleeve is fully intact with only slight edge wear and what looks like the remainder of some cellophane across the top of the back cover. It’s still in very good condition. This pressing features the complete version of "Phantom Of The Opera" which is 7:20 in length. This has a short coda/reprise at the end, separated from the rest of the song by a few seconds of silence. Most other vinyl pressings have the shortened version. Only the UK Fame-edition, the Japanese pressing, the Greek pressing, the later released Czech pressings and the 2024 pressings have this full length track included. The original black inner sleeve has 'PATENT No 1,125,555 printed in tiny white font in the bottom left corner of one side. (I took the vinyl photos on a white inner background to reduce lens glare but it’s a black inner sleeve) Catalogue number "EMC 3330" is printed on the labels, rear sleeve and spine. The labels also show “Published By Sanctuary Music”, but have credits on two lines instead of 3 lines on later pressings and no "℗" symbol is present. "OC 062-07 269" is printed on the top right of rear sleeve and there’s a printers code situated bottom right of rear sleeve: “G.O. 8004 G.L.”Feel free to ask any questions!
