I'm now clearing our a batch of classic rock LPs that I bought in a collection a few years back, a pretty complete collection but I don't really need to keep all the titles. Watch this sapce for more titles.......

Not sure what to say about this, picked it up in a collection years ago and never got the story. Basically it's the UK press of the maiden picture disc but hasn't actually had the top layer (which contains the music) overlaid onto the picture disc. As such the pic disc has all the tracklisting, the images and text 1982 EMI and made in the UK etc but seems to have not had the process completed. If you look at the pictures the edge of the disc has a seal all around but this only goes in about 3mm from the edge. After that the pic disc has a rough mat finish and is in really clean nice condition, no marks or writing.
Now this may be a common thing or a super rare mis-press, I've looked online but found nothing similar, if you have one or know the story please drop me a message and let me know, I'm intrigued! However as I can't gague the value I'm putting it on for 99p and bids and let the market decide.
