Description
Up for auction is this IRON MAIDEN - SOMEWHERE IN TIME LP. This was another
extremely popular album from 'Maiden' in 1986 which surprisingly manefested only 3
hit singles: Wasted Years, Stranger in a Strange Land & Caught Somewhere in Time.
This vinyl is in NEARMINTMINT- condition. It has only been played ONE TIME &
still has the original plastic shrinkwrap on it. So yes, the outer cardboard sleeve
is also in NM condiion. A PREMIUM USED copy for the true "Maiden' fan to find.
Both the front & back of the album cover have got a lot of detail to take in.
There are hidden "eggs" which pertain to other "Maiden' albums like for instance,
in the group of band members on the back, the sign directly above the blonde
guitarist standing on the far left, says "Ancient Mariner Seafood Restaurant".
Now every 'Maiden' fan knows that it's a reference to the last track on the
"Powerslave" album that's entitled "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner". That's
just one of them. My favorite is in the 2nd to last pic, or pic #10. You can
see the form of a certain "Caped Crusader" standing on a corner ledge
of a building watching over the band for whatever reason!! In the last
pic, or pic #11, there is an image of a figure w/ what looks to be angel
wings that is falling downward. Can any of you guess what iconic
Rock-n-Roll album this is from? (This is not a hard one to figure out)
