IRON MAIDEN (THE SOUNDHOUSE TAPES) 7" PRE-PICTURE SLEEVE ISSUE (THE RAREST OF THE ORIGINAL 5000)

SIDE 1 - IRON MAIDEN      Run off info: Initials SA with LYN 7627-IT then R OK-1-A and further round *EG*

SIDE 2 - INVASION/PROWLER      Run off info: SA then R OK-1-B with LYN 7628-IT and further round *EG*

The track PROWLER has a complete ending and does not fade out.

And now for the interesting part......

This single was sent out to a few fans prior to the picture sleeve being printed. It was sent out in a plain, white sleeve with a printed note from Iron Maiden, apologising for the delay. Please see photo.

I have blacked out part of the image of the note in order to prevent forgeries.

I was given the single by a guy who lived in Leytonstone and used to go with friends to watch Maiden practice.

This single and the note has been in my personal possession since 1980.

After much research and contact with other Maiden fan sites, I can find no other example of this issue.

If you know different, please tell me as I am genuinely interested!

The single is in great condition as it has been rarely played.
