You know the story , you can't really depict your mascot killing the then prime minister of Britain on your sleeve ...particularly if your record company is pillar of society EMI ...therefore this original version was quickly withdrawn and replaced with a version with blacked out eyes . Well what we have here is one that got away . It was an empty sleeve used for record store display and quickly filed away for a rainy day . That means this is in near mint condition with no edge or ring wear ( how could it having never been with the record ) and is therefore a superb chance to upgrade your censored single or tired old withdrawn version.....
Just to make sure we all sing from the same hymn sheet ...this is an original issued sleeve but never matched with the record.
