IRON MAIDEN THE FIRST TEN YEARS RARE UK VINYL BOX SET

   From 1990 comes the ultra-rare British-only Iron Maiden box set The First Ten Years, housing ten unique double gatefold pressings of the group's first twenty 12" singles and EP's: "Running Free"/"Sanctuary" (IRN 1), "Women In Uniform"/"Twilight Zone" (IRN 2), "Purgatory"/Maiden Japan (IRN 3), "Run To The Hills"/"The Number Of The Beast" (IRN 4), "Flight Of Icarus"/"The Trooper" (IRN 5), "2 Minutes To Midnight"/"Aces High" (IRN 6), "Running Free" (Live)/"Run To The Hills" (Live) (IRN 7), "Wasted Years"/"Stranger In A Strange Land" (IRN 8), "Can I Play With Madness"/"The Evil That Men Do" (IRN 9), and "The Clairvoyant"/"Infinite Dreams" (IRN 10) - all with their original b-sides and artwork (with their original back covers replicated inside each gatefold).
   The outer box is very good plus due to an admittedly fair amount of shelf wear and scuffing and even a bit of scratching and tearing on its bottom.  The gatefold sleeves are all excellent to near mint with each set's limited edition track listing sticker on its front and just the occasional minor blemish (ring wear, corner impacting, touches of rippling here and there), except for the "Running Free"/"Sanctuary" sleeve, which is very good plus due to ungluing along the bottoms of both pockets.  The twenty records are all near mint to mint, although "Women In Uniform" is missing the label on its a-side.  Interestingly enough, each double single still has its voucher, which purchasers of each single actually needed to send in in order to receive the collector's box - try to find another set that still has those!
