IRON MAIDEN: NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING.
The Magnificent Maidens' 8th Studio Album was Janick Gers' first as Guitarist. This 1990 Album played very well on my Record Player (can record a short video on request) without "sticking", "jumping" or "ticking", but would like to like to Grade it as "EX", although it may be slightly better. I've tried to fill in as many Item Specifics as I could.
The Outer Sleeve: aside from two barely noticeable "spidery creases" at the top, this is in excellent condition.
I would say the Inner Sleeve is Near Mint.
Have tried to show the above in Images.
This may well be better than most out there, and also better than one you might be trying to replace.
Released in early October 1990, this reached Number 2 on the Official UK Chart, staying in for over 3 Months (am likely to have bought this on release). It has two songs which hit the Singles Chart:
Holy Smoke, Number 3
Bring Your Daughter . . .
. . . To The Slaughter, Number 1
Have Guinness Hit Singles & Albums Book as reference.
I have this in another format now, so happy to let it go. Matrix Numbers. EMD 1017: A & B 1U-1-1, suggestive of First Pressing, but perhaps someone out there knows how these numbers actually work.
I always use a record cloth before playing, but am sure everyone knows what static does!
Having put all my Records in order early last year (took several weeks!), I've been playing through them for the first time in nearly 30 years - very enjoyable so far - but with space having to be freed up now (this has been in 4 different houses with me), this is the 166th of 366 Artist L.P.'s which I started with (am keeping 96 of them so far), with a further 40 Comedy or Compilation L.P.'s.
