ISLAND- Pictures- Dark, disturbing, percussive, and theatrical are words that come to mind when listening to this unique album with a strong Prog edge and avantgarde leanings. Influences ranging from KING CRIMSON, IL BALLETTO DI BRONZO, TALE CUE to JOHN CAGE and UNIVERS ZERO to name but a few. Recorded at Dischi Ricordi Studios in Italy and produced by Claudio Fabi. This is one of the best SWISS Progressive albums, issued as a private pressing through ROUNDER RECORDS 01001 in 1977. Again, like SHIVER the scary GIGER cover. A Mega rarity as well. Laminated cover is EX+ with very light wear around the edges and 1 sticker in the back. Vinyl is very clean, would grade Mint- if not for a light superficial but visible mark on side 2. Grades EX+/EX+; Overall a very nice copy of a rarely seen original masterpiece.
