Description
Isle of Wight Festival 1970.
Here we have a RARE Promo copy of the Official Isle of Wight 1970 Festival Theme, recorded by Fairfield Parlour under the guise of I Luv Wight.
Let the World Wash In was played once at the Festival, then Rikki Farr removed it from the turntable and, remarking "that's enough of that crap", threw it away.
A shame for not only was it released in a Drummer Man picture sleeve, the lyrics summed up the spirits of the event.
I can only assume that this Promo was issued to a radio station and/or disc jockey for reviews and air time.
I have never played the record, but it looks in very good shape to me.
There is a split c. 3" along the bottom of the sleeve which, hopefully, shows on the scans.
