Each episode aimed to present these real-life incidents in an engaging and entertaining manner, often highlighting the extraordinary nature of ordinary people's experiences.
The format of "It Really Happened" involved scripted narratives and reenactments, bringing the stories to life for listeners. This approach helped to capture the imagination of the audience, making the tales more vivid and memorable. The program's goal was not only to entertain but also to inform and inspire by showcasing true events that might otherwise be overlooked.
