Artist: Antoinetta Palombina
Tracks: L'usuraia napoletana / Fronna é limone

Incredibly rare and unusual Italian folk disc - one side a spoken sketch, but the flip is a rare example of an unaccompanied "fronna" song, a kind of Neapolitan folk song. This is sung unaccompanied by Palombina in a beautiful way, which reminds me of the unaccompanied music of Northern Spain. The song is credited as "malavita napoletana" which indicates it's a song from the underworld! Probably recorded 1908-1910.

Condition: V++ with rough-ish starts. Both sides improve considerably after 30 seconds or less.
